Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 7, 2026

At PDFPassword.in, your privacy isn't just a priority—it's the core architectural principle of our entire application. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your data.

1. We Do Not Collect Your Data

PDFPassword.in is a client-side web application. When you use our Password Generator or PDF Unlocker, all processing happens locally on your own device (in your web browser).

  • We do not upload your PDF files to our servers.
  • We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information (such as your Name, Date of Birth, PAN, or Account Numbers) that you type into the generator.

2. How the Tool Works

When you select a bank or company format, our JavaScript engine (running entirely on your phone or computer) applies the specific rules to the data you typed in to generate the password string. If you use the “Remove Password” feature, the file decryption is performed locally using the qpdf library compiled to WebAssembly (WASM). This runs entirely in your browser.

3. Third-Party Analytics

We may use basic, privacy-friendly analytics tools (like Google Analytics) solely to count page views and understand which bank formats are most popular. This data is fully aggregated and anonymized. It does not track individual user identities or anything you type into the generator forms.

4. Changes to This Policy

If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will post the updated version here. Because we don't collect user emails, we cannot notify you directly of changes.
